IPL 2024 season has been started. In this season, the Delhi Capitals franchise started its campaign on March 23 with a match against Punjab Kings. Delhi Capitals franchise had to face defeat by 4 wickets at the hands of Punjab Kings in that match.
A report is coming out in a media that the player who had refused to play in the IPL 2024 season citing personal reasons, will now be seen representing this team in that championship which are going to starting from 4th of April.
Harry Brook can represent Yorkshire in the county Championship
England’s young batsman Harry Brook, who was included in the team squad by the Delhi Capitals franchise by paying an amount of Rs 4 crore in the IPL auction 2024. The same young batsman had withdrawn his name from the tournament citing personal reasons just before the start of the IPL 2024 season.
Recently, Yorkshire head coach Otis Gibson has given a statement on the official website of Yorkshire Cricket Club saying that
“Now that Brooky isn’t going to the IPL, I suspect he’s going to be available for us for the first few games, including [against] Leicestershire”

Harry Brook gave this Staement on Skiping IPL 2024
English batsman Harry Brook had given a statement on leaving the IPL 2024 season due to personal reasons and stated that
“I can confirm that I have made the very difficult decision not to play in the upcoming IPL, I was so excited to be picked by Delhi Capitals and was so looking forward to joining up with everyone. Whilst I don’t think I should need to share my personal reasons behind this decision, I know there will be many asking why. So I do want to share this”
“I lost my grandmother last month. she was a rock to me and I spent a huge amount of my childhood in her home; my attitude to life and love for cricket was shaped by her and my late grandfather. When at home, there would hardly be a day go by that didn’t include seeing her. It makes me so happy that she was able to see me play cricket for England. I’m proud that she could collect some of the awards I have won over the last couple of years when I couldn’t be there and I know she enjoyed doing that.”
Harry Book can prove to be a big match winner for England in T20 World Cup 2024
The T20 World Champion England team is also one of the strong contenders to win the World Cup to be held in the year 2024. If the England team has to win the T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Jos Buttler, then England’s young batsman Harry Brook is going to play a big role in it. By batting in the middle order for the England team, Harry Brook can help England score a good score against the opposition team.
