Team India Home Tour 2021-22 Announced, India’s home series for T20I, Test, and ODI released

Channels on which Indians can watch the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

The upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is just around the corner with a mere one month left for the proceedings of the tournament. The showpiece event will commence with qualifying matches. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland,  Namibia, Papua New Guinea and Oman will compete with each other to make their places in the Super 12s.

The final tournament will then begin as Super 12 teams take on each other, starting October 23. India is all set to lock horns with Pakistan in its opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on 24th October. 

Earlier, the tournament was slated to be conducted in India however, the unprecedented situations in the country pushed the official to take UAE and Oman’s way to complete the World Cup. Though World Cup is happening in UAE and Oman, the hosting rights are completely retained by India and BCCI.

Since the World Cup is happening in the UAE and Oman, most of you will be curious to know if the Indian TV channels will broadcast the matches or not.

In delightful news for the Indian fans, Star Sports has acquired all the rights to broadcast all 45 matches of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. A seamless action will be shown in multiple channels of Star Sports. Moreover, the coverage will be live for the users in different Indian languages, just like the proceedings of the IPL.

Disney+Hotstar App will also live stream the matches and the active users with subscription plans can watch the action there. The afternoon matches will begin 3:30 PM IST onwards while the evening matches will begin 7:30 PM IST onwards.

India’s Squad for the T20 World Cup 2021:

India has also announced its squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. The squad consists of the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar along with a few others.
