Australia vs India: Cameron Green ruled out of the tour game due to a concussion.

Australia vs India: Yet another scary injury for the Australians before the start of the Test Series against India. The young Cameron Green has been ruled out of the tour game due to a concussion during the second practice match against India A.

The injury will be threatening for the Australian management as they have been in and out due to several injury concerns in the whole India tour. In the previous game, young opener Will Pucovski was taken for a medical check-up after being hit on the head.

During the second practice game against India A, the all-rounder Cameron Green got hit on his head while bowling to Jasprit Bumrah. The all-rounder could not react to the fast straight drive off Bumrah and the ball burst into the head after touching his hands.

Mohammed Siraj on the other end, immediately went straight to him to check if he is alright. He was later taken for a medical checkup.

Injury Concerns for Australia after Cameron Green got ruled out:

After the game of the first day ended, Cricket Australia announced that he will be out of the tour game due to a concussion. However, his availability in the test game against India is still a question and will be answered once the medical report is out.

A bit of worry for Cricket Australia as David Warner is also ruled out of the first test match. Warner suffered a groin injury in the second ODI game against India while fielding. Since then he is out of the game and doing his rehab program in Sydney.

In a statement, Warner told, “I am not fully game fit right now. Test game needs a good level of fitness and I am not prepared for it. 10 more days will work for me to get much-needed fitness. I will be agile in the field till then.”

The update on Will Pucovski is still not available. He is not part of the second test practice games against India A.

Mitchell Starc also missed the final two T20Is due to family issues and the update on his availability is still not confirmed.
