Asia Cup 2025: Watch: Fakhar Zaman fumes at umpire after being given controversially out in IND vs PAK clash
Pakistan National Cricket Team opener Fakhar Zaman looked in a dangerous mood with the bat in the ongoing game against the Indian Cricket Team in the Asia Cup 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Fakhar Zaman was promoted up the order and was asked to open the innings. He looked in great touch with the bat and gave his team a fiery start with the bat. He attacked the Indian bowlers right from the start and put them under pressure.
Fakhar Zaman attacked both Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, scoring runs quickly. However, he had to take the long walk back to the pavilion as he bagged a controversial dismissal, which became the major talking point of the match.
On the third ball of the third over, Hardik Pandya bowled an off-cutter and caught the edge of Fakhar Zaman’s bat. The batter hung around and the umpires wanted to check if the ball carried. The ball was very close to the ground before going into the gloves.
The third umpire had a look at it and was convinced to make a decision, terming it out. Fakhar couldn’t believe it and was shaking his head as he walked off. He stood around a little confused before starting to make his way back.
