Asia Cup 2023 Pakistan Squad, Captain, Player List, Playing11, Venue [Expected]: As per Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Hybrid Model, Pakistan will host four matches, and Sri Lanka will host nine matches in Asia Cup 2023. Sri Lanka was chosen as a Neutral venue after The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to play cricket in Pakistan Due to Security Issues.

Pakistan and India will be playing in the Same Group in Asia Cup, and this is done because Asian Cricket Council (ACC) wants more matches between Pakistan and India so that more people will watch matches and They could generate more revenue.

Pakistan will play five matches in Asia Cup, In which, they will play two matches in Group Stages, and Then In Super Four, They will play three matches, and If Somehow, They finish in the Top Two of the Super Four, then Pakistan will play the Final.

There will be Two Stages in Asia Cup, First is Group Stage, where teams will play two matches, and then From Each Group, The top two teams will move to Super Four, where Teams will play three matches and Then The Top Two teams of Super Four Round will get into in the Asia Cup 2023 Finals.

The Captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team in Asia Cup 2023 will be Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan will be in the role of vice-captain. Both these players are the current captains and Vice captains of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the bilateral series.

Asia Cup 2023 Venue for Pakistan Team (Excepted)

As Per PCB’s Hybrid Model, Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and it is expected that Pakistan Cricket Team will play only one match on their home ground (Lahore) and the remaining matches in Sri Lanka (Hambantota and Galle). PCB wants to host Asia Cup 2023 Final in Pakistan, but it may not be possible if Indian Team reaches the final.
