Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan invited Jay Shah to watch the opening match of Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) invited Jay Shah for the opening match of Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan on 30 August 2023. Pakistan will play the opener of Asia Cup 2023 against Nepal on 30 August 2023 at Multan Cricket Stadium.

On 2 September, India will play their first Asia Cup match against Pakistan at Pallekele International Stadium, Colombo. India and Pakistan are the most awaited match of Asia Cup 2023.

PCB invited BCCI chief secretary Jay Shah to watch the first Asia Cup 2023 to boost relations with India. PCB wants to boost relations with India to promote more cricket between both these nations.

The decision to go to Pakistan to watch the opening match of Asia Cup 2023 was on Jay Shah. The offer from PCB was not accepted by Jay Shah yet.

Experts say that there is a strong possibility that Jay Shah will go to Pakistan to watch the Asia Cup match, keeping in mind that India is going to host World Cup 2023 in October and November 2023, and expected that India would invite all participating Nations Chief to watch the World Cup match.

Jay Shah approved Pakistan’s Hybrid Model to host Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan. PCB invited him as a chief guest of Asia Cup 2023. Sri Lanka and Pakistan have been chosen to host the Asia Cup 2023.

ACC Asia Cup 2023 was scheduled from 30 August to 17 September 2023 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Teams are divided into Two Groups; each group consists of Three Teams. India, Pakistan and Nepal are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B.

India and Pakistan teams have yet to announce their squad for Asia Cup 2023. Jay Shah will announce the squad of the India Team on 23 August 2023 after the completion of the NCA training camp of the India Team ahead of the Asia Cup 2023.

Pakistan is going to host any major cricket Tournament after 2005. Jay Shah played an important role in the Asia Cup host selection. After India agreed to Pakistan’s Hybrid model to host the Asia Cup with Sri Lanka.

In Asia Cup 2023, a total of 13 matches were scheduled in which. Pakistan will host only 4 Group matches, while Sri Lanka will host nine matches, including All Super Four and Final matches.
