3 Bowlers who can replace Deepak Chahar in CSK for IPL 2022: The four times IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have suffered a bump ahead of the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season fifteen. The franchise’s INR 14 Crores pick, Deepak Chahar is likely to miss out on the majority of the season fifteen due to an injury.

Deepak Chahar has suffered a quadricep tear while bowling in the final T20I fixture against West Indies in Kolkata. The pacer was seen wobbling up as he took his run-up to deliver the final ball of his second over. He was later attended by the Indian physio and soon after the comprehensive scans were revealed, he was ruled out of following India vs Sri Lanka T20I series.

As per the experts and various reports, Chahar is certain to miss the majority portion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as his injury is believed to take several weeks to heal.

As of now, Deepak Chahar is undergoing an intense rehab program in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bangalore to retain his fitness. The medical team at the NCA is assisting the pacer in his recovery.

It is noteworthy that Deepak Chahar was the costliest player for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2022. The player went as high as INR 14 Crores as CSK several fierce bidding battles against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Interestingly, CSK had never spent more than INR 10 Crores in the purchase of players at the auction table, however, the trend was reversed in 2022 as CSK was determined to get back their key pacer Deepak Chahar during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

It would be a huge setback for the reigning champions if Chahar becomes unavailable for the entire IPL 2022. However, it is too early to predict anything on that front, as CSK is still awaiting a complete report on the fitness standards of Deepak Chahar from the NCA.

Meanwhile, we will lead you through the top 3 Bowlers who can replace Deepak Chahar in CSK for IPL 2022, if gets ruled out.
