Williamson OUT, Santner & Ravindra IN! New Zealand Announces Full Squad for England T20I Series

New Zealand has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against England. Some important players are returning to the squad after Injury, while others have retained their spot in the team. Mitchell Santer and Rachin Ravindra suffered injuries a few months ago, and now they return to the side after a long break.

New Zealand and England are set to play a three-match T20I series, which is scheduled to begin on October 18 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. It's going to be interesting to see how the Kiwis are going to challenge England's bazball in their home soil.

Both teams are gearing up for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which is expected to be played in February 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. New Zealand was eliminated in the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2024, so they will be preparing well to advance to the knockout stage in the upcoming edition.

Santer to lead after returning from Injury.

New Zealand star player Mitchell Santner is back again as the captain of the New Zealand National Cricket Team after recovering from abdominal surgery. He is going to lead the team in this crucial three-match T20I series against England. This is going to be an excellent opportunity for New Zealand to test its bench strength against a strong side like England.

New Zealand has performed exceptionally under the leadership of Mitchell Santner, and he will be looking to make a better and balanced squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. However, he also needs to focus on his batting as it's been a concern for him for a long time; however, his spin bowling is top-notch.
