Multan Sultans, who have dominated the league stage of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 but they played poor cricket with both bat and ball in the PSL 2024 Final therefore Multan Sultans lost the trophy even after they played fantastically in the whole tournament.

In the PSL 2024 Final, Multan Sultan batted first and they made 159 runs on the scoreboard in 20 overs with the loss of nine wickets. In the second inning, Islamabad United started quite well as Martin Guptill and Colin Munro gave a decent start to the team but when they got out, wickets were kept falling from one end and the match went to the last ball thriller.

But, Hunain Shah scored four runs on the last ball and led Islamabad United to register their third PSL title. The Player of the match was Imad Wasim, who bowled a match-winning spell and took five wickets in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 Final.
