Watch: Ben Duckett plays street cricket in Mumbai, video goes viral
England batter Ben Duckett is enjoying his time in India as the two teams lock horns with each other in the five-match T20I series. The series has already been won by India after they won the fourth game of the series in Pune.
The final game of the series will be played on Sunday (2nd February) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The England team will be keen to win the match and enter into the ODI series on a high by ending the series with a margin of 3-2.
One of the key performers for England in the ongoing tour has been Ben Duckett. The opening batter, after failing to score runs in the first two games, came up with the magical efforts in the third and fourth match. He looked in solid touch and troubled the Indian bowlers.
Ben Duckett slammed a vital half-century in the third game and followed it up with a 39-run knock in the 4th IND vs ENG T20I. The batter has been at his aggressive best while opening the innings and would be keen to carry on the same form in the last match.
His form will be crucial for England in the last game. He, along with Jos Buttler, has looked like the settled batter in the series for visitors. The opening batter would want to cash on the form and help his team make a strong comeback in the series.
Ben Duckett, since the last year, has been in red-hot form and has been consistently scoring runs for England in all three formats. The opening batting will be crucial for his team in ODIs as well followed by the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Ahead of the fifth IND vs ENG T20I match, Ben Duckett was seen playing street cricket in Mumbai. In the video that has gone viral on the internet, the opening batter can be seen hitting a six in a shadow batting effort on the footpath.
