1. India, Ravi Shastri – INR 9.5 – 10 crore
The richest Cricket board, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) pays Indian head coach Ravi Shastri a hefty paycheck for his teaching responsibilities to the Indian team.
Shastri, who became the coach of the Indian national side in 2017 had a fantastic cricketing career as an all-rounder. Before taking the coaching helm, Shastri was appointed as the national team’s director in 2014.
With the hefty paycheck, the role comes with a massive responsibility to guide the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni etc. India has shone under him and has registered massive victories which will be remembered for many many years.
India thrashed Australia two times and retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy. India has also won the limited-overs series in England, New Zealand, South Africa, and West Indies.
The next major mission for Ravi Shastri will be to lead India to become the World Test Champions.
The BCCI pays around INR 9.5 to 10 crore for his teaching roles.
