IPL Points Table: What a game it has turned out to be for Delhi Capitals (DC) as they register yet another win in the TATA IPL 2024. Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 20 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The win propels them to the top half of the IPL Points Table with 12 points on the board. DC vs RR Match Highlights
Rajasthan Royals (RR), thought, they had very good chance to win this game until their skipper Sanju Samson was in the middle. However, a controversial umpiring decision proved crucial for the RR’s as they lost another fixture.
The only threatening innings in the chase of 221 runs came off the blade of skipper Sanju Samson, who scored a sublime 46-ball 86 before getting caught in the deep. He was partly aided by Jos Buttler, Riyan Parag and Shubham Dube.
Following Samson’s wicket, the game was almost sealed to be Delhi’s. Though the incoming batters tried their chances to reach close to the total, but either they holed out or got bowled.
Eventually, it was DC that came on top with 20 20-run win against Rajasthan Royals (RR).
Earlier in the game, Delhi Capitals (DC) got off to a solid start with Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel scoring quick runs in the powerplay. McGurk, once again, launched an attack and scored a magnificent 20-ball half-century which included 7 fours and three sixes.
Abhishek Porel continued his onslaught and played a sensational knock of 65 runs in 36 deliveries before getting dismissed.
To finish things off with some style, Tristin Stubbs scored 41 runs in just 20 deliveries which included three sixes and as many fours. DC managed to get 221 runs on the board to defend in 20 overs.

Delhi Capitals (DC) has improved its ranking in the IPL points table following a 20-run win over Rajasthan Royals. They took a leap over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to get a fifth spot in the updated rankings. As things stand, DC has six wins from 12 matches, which takes them to 12 points as well.
