Mickey Arthur has been one of the finest coaches in international cricket. As mentioned earlier, he has coached Pakistan Cricket Team until 2019 and eventually he got a contract with Sri Lanka Cricket for the same roles.
Arthur has failed to find a balance in the Sri Lankan Lions cricket team. They have changed as many as nine ODI skippers in the last four years. Kushal Perara is the latest one at the helm.
There is a lot of work to do with this Sri lankan side and Mickey Arthur will be looking forward to that.
Besides the on-field performances of the team, Sri Lanka Cricket is under serious pay disputes. Mickey Arthur receives $ 0.46 m for his coaching duties with SLC.
