The 2026 T20 World Cup is fast approaching. The mega T20 event will be played in February of 2026. This time, India and Sri Lanka are hosting the T20 World Cup. Although the schedule has not been released yet, the dates and times have now been revealed. On the evening of November 25, the 20-20 World Cup schedule will be publicly accessible on the Star Sports Network.
The full schedule for next year's T20 World Cup will be released on November 25th. Star Sports has announced this. Currently, the IDFC FIRST BANK Test series is underway between India and South Africa. The second match of this series is currently being played at the Baraspara Cricket Ground in Guwahati. Tuesday, November 25th will be the fourth day of this match. The day's play will end around 16:00 pm, after which the schedule will be announced live on Star Sports. Star Sports has announced on social media that the live broadcast will begin at 18:30 pm on November 25th. 

Matches will be played at these stadiums in India

Information available so far indicates that Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai have been selected as the venues for the matches in India. This means a total of five venues have been finalized. Furthermore, the cities of  Kandy & Colombo have been selected for Sri Lanka. However, the ICC is yet to provide further details on this matter. 

The Twenty 20 World Cup will be played under this format

This year's T20 World Cup will be even bigger. A total of 20 teams will be seen playing in this tournament next year. The ICC has created four groups for this purpose, each group consisting of five teams. It is believed that the first match of the World Cup will be played from February 7th and will continue till March 8th. This means that there will be matches every day for almost a month. The champion team will be decided on March 8th. 

T20i captain Suryakumar Yadav, Women's Team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Former captain of India Rohit Sharma will also be seen in action

As we previously reported, the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026 will be released on November 25th. The start time for the match is 6:30 PM. It will be available live on the Star Sports Network and Jio Hotstar. Star Sports has posted a post suggesting that Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Harmanpreet Kaur will be included in the schedule when it is announced. Furthermore, former Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews may also be included.
