ICC U-19 World Cup 2026 - India U19 Full Schedule, Squad , and Where to Watch Live in India
The sixteenth edition of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 Zimbabwe & Namibia is set to kick off from the 15th of January onwards with Team India taking on USA-U19 in the opening fixture of the tournament. The Mighty Australians are the reigning-champions of the tournament, but the Boys in Blue have the potential and talent to dethrone the Kangaroos if they play in accordance to the expectations.
The Indian Team have already unveiled their squad of fifteen players for the forthcoming tournament. They are the team who have lifted the World Cup trophy most number of times (FIVE).
Young Star of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be seen handling the captaincy duties of the team. Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) 14-year-old wonderkid Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is also a part of the squad after performing in a wonderful manner for India at the Under-19 level in the past four months.
The U-19 team of India recently participated in the Rising Stars 2025 Asia Cup where they ended the tournament as the second-best team, losing to bitter-rivals Pakistan in the summit clash by a big margin of 190 runs

After ending the 2025 Rising Stars Asia Cup as the top run-getter for the Boys in Blue, young star Aaron George will be looking to carry on with his fine batting form at the forthcoming World Cup.
All eyes are going to be on 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi though, as the Southpaw continues to impress the Indian Cricket Audience.
