T20 World Cup 2026 points table after match 21, USA vs NED

United States of America (USA) made a strong comeback in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 as they registered a dominant win against Netherlands. They beat the Dutch side by 93 runs in the encounter at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Asked to bat, USA posted a massive total of 196 for six and the bundled out Netherlands for 103.

USA had a great start to their innings as Monank Patel (36) and Shayan Jahangir (20) batted aggressively. Then at three, Saiteja Mukkamalla (79) played one of his best innings, hitting a brilliant half-century.

Shubham Ranjane (48*) played his part as well. His 54-run partnership with Mukkamalla powered USA to a total of 196 for six. For Netherlands, Bas de Leede picked three wickets.

Netherlands had a worst possible start as that they lost wickets right from the start. Bas de Leede (23) and captain Scott Edwards (20) had starts but they failed to convert that.

USA’s Harmeet Singh (four for 21) was all over the Netherlands batters as his four-fer helped his team end opposition’s innings on 103. With this 93-run win USA kept themselves alive in tournament with one more game to go.
