David Warner hits back at SRH for abruptly dropping him from the team in IPL 2021

IPL 2021: Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner took his Instagram handle to express his desire to reach the final of the Indian T20 league yet another time. Warner is quite active on social media and often tends to interact with his fans over some chicky messages, replies or edited photos. This time, Warner got an edited video by one of his fans.

Warner shared the montage video of his overall IPL career on Instagram saying, “Thanks for these highlights @ha_ve_faith_inme. It would be great to be able to make the finals again, but there is a lot of hard work beforehand to get there. I can’t wait to get back to India for the @iplt20 @sunrisershyd #cricket #india”.

Australian dashing opener took Sunrisers Hyderabad to their maiden IPL title back in 2016 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). David Warner and Co bagged an eight runs comprehensive win in the game. Warner led his side from the front slamming 69 runs off 38 balls. The very game also saw Gayle Strom (76 runs) and Virat Kohli half-century (54 runs) to put up their all efforts.

SRH has qualified for playoffs every year since 2016. However only once they have reached the final besides in 2016. In IPL 2018 they lost to CSK in the final by eight wickets which ended their second trophy campaign.

In the delayed season of IPL, SRH managed to reach a third place with eight wins and as many losses. However, determinant Delhi Capitals defeated them in the second quarter-final.

Skipper David Warner is the biggest investment of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has been in the top run-getter every year for SRH. Last time in UAE, Warner smacked 548 runs in 16 games and was the third-leading run-scorer in the IPL 2020 with four half-centuries.

The IPL 2021 will begin on 09th April in Chennai where Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad will begin their campaign on 11th April against Kolkata Knight Riders.
