Side strain rules out RR’s Nathan Coulter Nile from the Tata IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals (RR) have sustained a massive blow as experienced all-rounder Nathan Coulter Nile has been ruled out of the remainder of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) season fifteen owing to a side strain. The development was confirmed on Wednesday.

Notably, Coulter Nile picked up the injury during his side’s first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 29th in the Maharashtra Cricket Association International Stadium Pune.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) bagged the services of Nathan Coulter Nile during the player auctions for his base price of INR 2 Crores.

The Aussie all-rounder has returned home to undergo his rehabilitation program.

“Unfortunately, I have the hard task of wishing him farewell,” RR’s head physio John Gloster said in a video posted by the franchise on Wednesday.

“It’s always hard to lose someone, particularly when it’s through injury. And you know we were really looking forward to spending a lot of time with you (Coulter-Nile) throughout this tournament.

“Unfortunately, that’s not going to be. But you are a big part of us. Anything you need from us, we are always always here. We look forward to having you back with us, whenever that might be.”
