Talking about the wicketkeeping roles, the Indian selectors will have a few options to look at. KL Rahul has recently emerged as one of the finest wicketkeeper batters, but there will be stiff competition among Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant as well.
It’s quite interesting that Rishabh Pant, who hasn’t played a single international game since he met with a deadly accident in the wee hours of 2023, is still in the race. However, his selection in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad will depend on how he performs in the IPL 2024 for Delhi Capitals.
