RCB Superstar Set for Team India Comeback in Asia Cup
Asia Cup: With approximately three weeks left until the Asia Cup 2025 begins, media reports are abuzz with speculation about Team India's selection for the tournament. According to reports published in PTI, the selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar may give star batsman of RCB a chance to return to Team India for the Asia Cup.
Jitesh Sharma will get a chance to make a comeback

Jitesh Sharma, who made his international debut for Team India in the T20 series against Australia in 2023, had his last chance to play an international match for India against Afghanistan in 2024.
But the way Jitesh Sharma played the role of finisher batsman for RCB in the IPL 2025 season, now the selection committee can decide to include him as the Backup wicketkeeper in the Asia Cup team due to Rishabh Pant's injury.
Jitesh Sharma may be included in Team India's playing 11 in the Asia Cup
Jitesh Sharma, who batted at a great strike rate as a finisher for RCB in the IPL, can be included by the team management in the playing 11 as a finisher in the lower middle order during the Asia Cup.
This can happen because, according to media reports, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill can be seen playing as openers for Team India in the Asia Cup. In such a situation, coach Gambhir can remove Sanju Samson from Team India's playing 11 and give Jitesh Sharma the role of finisher wicketkeeper batsman in his place.
Bumrah will get a chance to make it into Team India after a Year
Jasprit Bumrah, who played an important role in helping Team India win the T20 World Cup in 2024 after 17 years, has also not played any T20 match for Team India since then, but before a big mega event like the Asia Cup, the selection committee can include him in Team India and select a strong team for the Asia Cup.
