Punjab Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals to earn their second straight victory in IPL 2023. At the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, the Rajasthan Royals chose to elect to bowl first after winning the toss. Punjab, playing first, amassed 197 runs. Rajasthan’s squad could only muster 192 runs in response, losing the game by five runs.

But captain Shikhar Dhawan gave the responsibility of the last over to experienced player Sam Curran, and he lived up to his faith.
