Pakistan vs Afghanistan FINAL: Key Player Battles to Watch Out For! Tri Series Final in UAE 2025

Pakistan and Afghanistan clash in the UAE T20I Tri-Series 2025 Final in Sharjah. Key battles between Shaheen-Gurbaz, Agha-Rashid, Rauf-Zadran, and Nawaz-Nabi will decide the thrilling contest.

The much-awaited final of the UAE T20I Tri-Series 2025 will see Pakistan face Afghanistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 7. It all comes down to this final match after both teams had some exciting group stage cricket matches. The final starts at 3 PM GMT, or 7 PM Sharjah local time.

Afghanistan and Pakistan have already faced each other twice in the series, and the two encounters had quite different storylines. Salman Agha, the captain, and Haris Rauf, who took four wickets, led Pakistan to a 39-run victory in the opening match.

In the second match, Afghanistan came back strong thanks to match-winning fifties from Ibrahim Zadran and Sediqullah Atal. The Afghan bowlers then divided the burden and won by 18 runs. The stage is set for a thrilling final since each team has won one game.

Key Player Battles to Watch

1. Shaheen Afridi vs Rahmanullah Gurbaz
Shaheen Afridi's ability to hit early with his lethal inswingers has already been proven. Gurbaz, on the other hand, enjoys attacking the bowlers during the powerplay. This battle could determine who sets the tone for the innings.

2. Salman Agha vs Rashid Khan
Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, has been the mainstay of their batting with a composed fifty in the opening game. Afghanistan's most potent weapon in the middle overs is Rashid Khan. If Rashid can get rid of Agha as soon as possible, Afghanistan will have a significant edge.

3. Haris Rauf vs Ibrahim Zadran
Zadran has shown calm and patience, but Rauf is quick and aggressive. Zadran scored a brilliant 65 to lead his team to victory in the most recent game. In the final, this fight can be fierce and pivotal.

4. Mohammad Nawaz vs Mohammad Nabi
Both players have a lot of experience and are capable of changing the game with the bat and ball. Earlier in the series, Nawaz took two wickets and made a useful batting cameo. Nabi can hit big shots in the latter overs and has been reliable with the ball. Their overall effect will be crucial for both parties.

These four key players' battles would decide the aftermath of the match. Both teams are well-packed, fit, and with the Asia Cup 2025 just on the board, winning here would prove to be a big morale booster for either side.
