PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I: With a rain-interrupted first match, Pakistan and New Zealand are heading to the second match of the T20I series with a somewhat better weather condition at Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I is set to be played on 20th April at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and this post reads the Dream11 Prediction, Playing 11, Head-to-Head Records, and Pitch Report for PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I.

The first T20I was washed away by the splashes of continuous rain that allowed just two balls to be bowled. The toss was delayed by an hour and even after the game was reduced to five overs a side, it was destined to go without result.

What was speculated that Shaheen and Naseem might get rest for the first couple of matches went south as the Khabbu bowler and star pacer Naseem were included in the playing 11 of the first T20I. Along with them, Mohammad Amir was a bit of a surprise addition to the playing 11 as they already have a left-arm swing bowler in their line-up.

What surprised us more is that they are playing just three frontline batters in their lineup and as many as five all-rounders. This might be a sign that Pakistan are adopting a multi-allrounders strategy for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

On the other hand, New Zealand squad that is currently in Pakistan is missing their several key players and this is going to be a steep cliff for them. Led by Michael Bracewell, the Blackcaps are, through, confident enough for their contest against the full strength Pakistani side in Pakistan’s flat surfaces.

Now, Let’s take a brief look at the playing conditions, pitch report of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Head-to-head records and Dream11 prediction for the PAK vs NZ 2nd T20I:

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium Pitch Report

The cricket stadium in Rawalpindi has flat wickets, just as the majority of Pakistani surfaces. Since the pitch will be covered and it has been raining in Rawalpindi for a few days, we could see moisture and swing early on.

Although the pitch has some nice bounce, as the innings goes on, it becomes easier to bat on. Later in the innings, the spinners might get some help, although Pindi’s fields are renowned for high-scoring games.
