No Phil Salt and Jofra Archer as England announces ODI and T20I squads for West Indies series
England National Cricket Team has announced the squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against the West Indies National Cricket Team. Harry Brook, who was recently announced as the skipper, will be leading the team in both series.
The England vs West Indies will begin with the three-match ODI series. The first game will be played on 29th May at Edgbaston, followed by the second match to be played at Sophie Gardens on 1st June. The third and final game will be played at the Oval on 3rd June.
After that, the T20I series is all set to be played from 6th June at Riverside Ground. The second match will be played at County Ground, Bristol, on 8th June, followed by the last match, slated to take place on 10th June at Rose Bowl.
This will be the first assignment for Harry Brook after being appointed as the full-time skipper of England. The young batter would want to start the stint on high and win both the series and mark the new chapter in English Cricket.
Liam Dawson has been named in the T20I team for the first time since 2022. All-rounder Will Jacks will also be making his comeback for England. He has been named in both the squads after his impressive performances in the IPL 2025 for Mumbai Indians.
Phil Salt has been dropped from the ODI squad but has retained his place in T20I. Also, Luke Wood has been named in the team for the shortest of the game. Liam Livingstone also has been dropped from the side.
