This significant development comes after chaos erupted in Chennai last season during the match between CSK and RCB. Fans in huge numbers were left stuck on the counters as tickets got sold out in quick fashion, and the fans standing ahead in the queues got their hands on the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Many people even sold the tickets in black for double the price, raising questions regarding Chennai’s abilities to handle the ticket selling procedure. Therefore, this year, the CSK management has made their home game tickets available on Paytm Insider, which makes the ticket booking procedure simpler for the fans.
The MS Dhoni-led team will be taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chepauk on March 22, and their second home game will be against the IPL 2022 winners, the Gujarat Titans, on March 26.
