IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants recently roped in former Australian head coach Justin Langer as their head coach for the next season of the tournament. The development was confirmed by the franchise on their social media handles.

This came after the two-year contract of Andy Flower with Lucknow Super Giants concluded after the IPL 2023 and the franchise parted ways with him. This paved way for the franchise to look out for a new coach and as per the reports in Cricbuzz it is learned that Gautam Gambhir suggested the name of Justin Langer.

This will be his maiden IPL stint in the league as a coach. He has had great success as coach of the team as he led Australia to the T20 World Cup 2021 win and also under him Perth Scorchers to three Big Bash League titles in the first four years.
