Their prime all-round option and most reliable player is the Aussie T20 veteran Glenn Maxwell, who has shown excellent performance in the shorter format in whichever league he has played in. Shahbaz Ahmed has been an equally relevant player while playing as a batsman in the middle order and has often been promoted up the order when the team is in crisis.
Wanindu Hasaranga, RCB’s biggest buy of the 2022 auction, is another all-star in the RCB’s IPL 2023 squad. He was a standout performer for the Challengers the previous year.
