The most intriguing player in the setup is Ben Stokes, who was bought at an alarming rate of 16.25 crores in IPL 2023 mini-auction. Stokes will add to the reliability of CSK’s middle order and is expected to be their go-to bowler in difficult situations.
Equally proficient Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja have been part of the “Men in Yellow” setup for many years now. These players provide sublime balance to the Super Kings’ setup in IPL 2023. The current Kiwi skipper is equally proficient in the shorter format, especially on Indian pitches.
