They broke all records in their attempt to bid for English bowling all-rounder Sam Curran, as they picked him at an alarming price of 18.5 crores in IPL 2023 mini-auction.
Another smart buy was the Zimbabwean all-rounder and limited-overs skipper Sikander Raza, who is no doubt the best limited-overs cricketer playing across all limited-overs formats of the game. These two will add to the proficiency of Liam Livingstone, and together the trio will emerge as an invincible combination in IPL 2023.
