Royal Challengers Bangalore: Analysis

Gameplan: Bangalore is presently sitting at the 4th position in the points table with 6 wins in 11 matches played. A negative net run rate will be a bit of a concern for the side. The team managed to beat the Chennai Super Kings by defending a modest total in the previous match.

The batters put up a good enough show at first which was later on properly assisted by the bowlers so as to help the team bag two crucial points. The bowlers in particular did a great job and the team management will be expecting to see another combined effort from the players tomorrow.

Possible Playing XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Mahipal Lomror, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Analysis

Gameplan: The Sunrisers after their loss to Delhi in the last match is placed at the 6th position in the points table with 5 wins in 10 games. The team has displayed some fearless performances so far and the side’s batting unit, in particular, has been of wonderful quality recently. The bowlers however going for runs in the recent games will be a reason to worry about for the management in the upcoming matches. Captain Kane Williamson will look to get back some of his vintage rhythms as well.

Possible Playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson (c), Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Shashank Singh, Sean Abbott, Shreyas Gopal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan/Kartik Tyagi, Umran Malik.

SRH vs RCB: Probable Top Performers

Probable best batsman of the match – Nicholas Pooran

With his destructive innings of 62 runs in 34 balls in the latter part of the innings, it was Nicholas Pooran who kept the fading hopes of the Sunrisers alive in their mammoth chase against Delhi. The left-hander has shown similarly wonderful performances with the bat in the earlier games too several times this season.

His highly attacking batting has given the middle order a lot more strength, unlike the previous seasons. A similar knock from the Caribbean batsman is expected in tomorrow’s match.

Probable best bowler of the match – Josh Hazelwood

Hazelwood without a doubt has been Bangalore’s most impactful bowler this season so far. His wonderfully accurate line and length have been of great use to his team. The right arm pacer picked up a wicket and gave away just 19 runs in his four overs vs CSK in the last game. He will be keen to add on another fine performance with the ball in the upcoming game vs Hyderabad.
