India Squad for the Asia Cup 2025 Prediction

According to various media reports, the Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in September. The tournament will be played in T20I format and will see as many as eight teams participating. Few reports claimed that India and Pakistan would be placed in the same group, and this says a lot about it. 

The Indian Cricket Team will be entering the Asia Cup 2025 as defending champions. They will also be one of the favourites to win the tournament and would want to bring their best as it will serve as great preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will take place in India.

The Asia Cup 2025 will be a great opportunity for Indian players to seal their place in the team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. There's no doubt that Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team as he has been doing a great job as a leader in the format. 

Indians are expected to go with three openers in Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill. The trio has been performing exceptionally well with the bat for the team in white-ball cricket. Hence, it is expected that they will be there. 

Also, Sanju Samson, who has been doing truckloads of runs for India in T20Is, will be there as a keeper. The right-hander has been opening the batting for his side for the last year. Therefore, he will be there too as a keeper.

In the middle order, skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma will be there. Also, the likes of Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel will be there as all-rounders. The trio has performed reasonably well for India in the format and played a great role in the team winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. 

Along with Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakravarthy will be there as spinners. Since the tournament is expected to be played in the UAE, spinners will play a great role. They enjoyed great success in the ICC Champions 2025 and helped the team win the title. 

In the pace department, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are expected to be there.
