IND vs SA: 2 Changes India National Cricket Team should make for the third T20I against South Africa

The India National Cricket Team are currently locking horns with South Africa Cricket Team in the five-match T20I series. The IND vs SA series is levelled at 1-1 and now the action move towards the third match, which will be played in Dharamshala on Sunday, December 14.

The India National Cricket Team won the opening match of the IND vs SA series by a margin of 101 and lost the second game by 51 runs. However, in both the games, they struggled with their batting and now need to bring their A game to win the third match.

For that, the India National Cricket Team need to make few changes and in this article, we take a look at them.

Sanju Samson in place of Shubman Gill 

Indian Cricket Team vice-captain Shubman Gill has struggled big time in the T20Is. The premier batter bagged a golden duck in the first IND vs SA T20I and managed just 4 runs in the first match. He has looked clueless in the T20Is and this has been a real cause of concern with him not scoring. 

He took the opening spot on Sanju Samson as opener and it came as a surprise as the keeper-batter hit three centuries while opening. He was expected to continue in that role but that wasn’t the case. However, now with Gill struggling, it is the right time to bring back Samson and allow Gill to take some time off.

Kuldeep Yadav in place of Shivman Dube

Indian bowling was not upto the mark in the second IND vs SA T20I. Also, with Kuldeep Yadav not playing has been one of the hot topics. For India National Cricket Team to win the series, they need make a way for Kuldeep in the XI and for that Shivam Dube seems to be the best candidate.

Dube hasn’t done much with the bat and ball in the first two IND vs SA T20Is. Although, he is a valuable asset but his game against pace is not good and India needs Kuldeep in middle along with Varun. Hence, Kuldeep replacing him would be ideal for India in second IND vs SA T20I.
