IND vs ENG: Two changes that India can make for 4th Test against England in Ranchi

All eyes are now set for the 4th IND vs ENG Test. The match will be played at Jharkhand Cricket Association stadium in Ranchi from 23rd February. It will be a great opportunity for the India team to seal the series in the next game itself.

With IND vs ENG 4th game just a few days ahead, let’s take a look at two changes that India can make for the game against England in Ranchi.

KL Rahul in place of Rajat Patidar

Amongst all the young players in the team, Rajat Patidar has disappointed a lot in the ongoing IND vs ENG series. He has failed to make a mark in the series and it will be mo surprise if he gets dropped from the next game. KL Rahul is all set to return to the team for the 4th Test and Patidar himself made it easy for team management to drop him. The young batter couldn’t go past 40 runs in all the four innings that he played. Whereas others around him grabbed the opportunities with both hands.

Mukesh Kumar in place of Jasprit Bumrah

There have been various reports that have suggested that Jasprit Bumrah will be rested for the 4th IND vs ENG Test. The senior pacer has bowled 80 overs in the three games so far and BCCI is keen to give him rest to manage his workload with all the cricket ahead. He is the leading wicket-taker for India as he has been brilliant with the ball. With him getting rested, it is likely that Mukesh Kumar will replace him in the team. The fast bowler was released from the Indian squad for the third Test to play the Ranji game and he returned with 6 wickets.
