The third test match begins on February 15th in Rajkot. Spin bowlers from both teams will play a crucial role on the Rajkot pitch. According to a sports report, a rank-turner is likely to be prepared for the Rajkot pitch, which will assist spinners. But batsmen from both teams will also get help from the pitch, allowing them opportunities to score runs.

The two teams arrived in Rajkot on February 12 to get ready for the third test match. There was a 10-day rest period after the conclusion of the second test match. During the duration of the rest period, the England squad went to Abu Dhabi for a break, while the Indian players returned home to rest up. But now the players are focused and prepared for the upcoming third test.

The visitors have been dealt a major setback, with star spinner Jack Leach set to miss the remaining three test matches due to the injury he suffered in the Hyderabad test. The English management has full faith and confidence in their young spinners, as they have decided not to name a replacement for Leach.

In an interview with Sports Tak, a BCCI official said, “The Rajkot pitch will prove to be an excellent wicket for the upcoming third test. As the match progresses, the spinner will come into play and start dominating the pitch. But apart from the bowlers, batsmen will get more than enough assistance from the pitch as well. Nobody is going to be disappointed with the pitch. But the spinners will receive a little more help from the surface.”

Let us tell you that the third test match will be played between February 15 and February 19. The British surprised all the cricket fans around the world by winning the first test match. But in the second test, the Indians made a strong comeback as they bounced back with a win. At present, the series is tied at 1-1.
