ICC WTC Final: The countdown for the much anticipated World Test Championship Final has begun. Australia will lock horns against India in the summit clash of the championship. The two cricketing giants since the last two years played an exceptional brand of cricket and found themselves in the final. The game will be a testimony of their hard work as both of them would be looking to grab the title and win their first Test Championship.

Australia has named their squad for the ICC WTC final. The team has pretty familiar names and it’s fair to say that England’s conditions would suit them more than the Indian players. If we talk about the playing xi of Australia, there’s no doubt that Usman Khawaja will open the innings as he has been the leading run-getter for Australia in this edition.
However, the question remains who will be his opening partner? David Warner has struggled to score runs of late and is going through a torrid form. Australia has Marcus Harris in the squad as well. But it is likely that they will give a nod ahead to Warner as his experience would be vital for the team.

The duo of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith are expected to bat at No.3 and No.4 respectively. They both have been the mainstay of the Australian batting lineup in the Tests and are expected to play a crucial role in the WTC Final as well.
Travis ahead is going through the purple patch and has turned the game on his head with his brutal power hitting. He along with all-rounder Cameron Green, who scored a hundred in the last Test he played is likely to play a huge role for the team in the game against India.
Alex Cary will be the keeper in the team whereas Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood are likely to be the three front-line pacers in the team. Nathan Lyon is expected to be the only spinner in the team. It’s fair to say that their bowling lineup can prove out to be a difference between the two sides.
