ICC World Cup 2023: The ‘King of Cricket’ Virat Kohli is upping his game and is coming to reclaim his No.1 spot in the ICC rankings. The batter has made a lot of gains in the new rankings after his stellar show for India in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Virat Kohli has climbed to No.6 spot in the ICC ODI Rankings. The Indian batter has displayed a magnificent performance in the World Cup and is currently the second-leading run-getter in the event. He has been the most consistent batter in the mega event and the reward for that has been given to him.
Virat Kohli started the ICC World Cup 2023 with a whirlwind 85-run-knock against Australia in Chennai. He continued his fine form as after that he hit a staggering half-century in Afghanistan. He bagged a low score against Pakistan but made a staggering comeback against Bangladesh.
The lynchpin of the Indian batting slammed a magnificent ton against Bangladesh in Pune and then followed it with a 95-run knock against New Zealand in Dharamsala. Following his heroics, he has bagged 747 rating points in the ICC rankings.
