ICC World Cup 2023 Tickets: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to release 400,000 more match tickets for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The cricket board confirmed the development on September 6 following a high demand for tickets from passionate cricket fans.

After mulling with all the hosting associations across India, the BCCI zeroed in on releasing a new set of tickets to meet the increasing demand for the cricketing spectacle that is scheduled to commence on October 5 in Ahmedabad.

The general sale of these additional 400,000 match passes will be live on September 8 (Friday), 8 PM IST onwards, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced.

Fans can get their hands on these additional tickets by visiting https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. Moreover, the fans will be notified of future sales as well.

“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) acknowledges the high demand for tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. After discussions with the hosting state associations, the BCCI has announced the release of approximately 400,000 tickets for the highly anticipated tournament. This measure is aimed at accommodating as many passionate cricket fans as possible, ensuring their participation in this historic event,” a release from the BCCI revealed.

In the first phase of the sale of tickets for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, the BCCI released tickets on a team-and-match basis. The tickets for the warm-up and event matches of all other teams except for India were released on August 28. Then the cricket board released the match passes for India’s warm-up games in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati on August 30. The sale of match tickets for India’s event games in Chennai, Delhi and Pune was released a day later. On September 1st, match passes of India’s event games in Dharmshala, Mumbai and Lucknow were released. And finally, for games in Kolkata and Bengaluru, the tickets were live on sale on September 2nd.

The tickets for the highly sought India vs Pakistan fixture in Ahmedabad were released on September 3 by the BCCI. The tickets for the knockout games of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be released, September 15 onwards.
