IND vs PAK: Pakistan's latest demand for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Hybrid Model for Pakistan matches

In what has been the latest development it is learned as per the reports in Sports Tak that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with the International Cricket Council (ICC) are likely to announce the revised schedule of the ICC World Cup 2023 on Saturday (5th August). 

The reports suggested that the much anticipated India vs Pakistan game, which is so far scheduled to take place on 15th October, has been preponed to 14h October. There were earlier reports which suggested that local police in Ahmedabad have raised security issues on a particular date due to the Hindu festival Navaratri.

Jay Shah recently mentioned that 2-3 full members of the board have raised a few issues related to the schedule of the tournament and they will be announcing the revised schedule soon. It is expected that some minor changes be will there whereas venues will be the same.

A recent report on News 18 revealed about the changes that might happen. It’s learned that India vs Pakistan will be moved to 14th October whereas England and Afghanistan game, which is so far scheduled to take on 14th will be shifted to 15th October as a day and night fixture. New Zealand vs Afghanistan, which is currently slated to take place in the morning on 14th October is to be shifted to 15th October.
