ICC World Cup 2023 final is less than 24 hours away from now. India and Australia will be up against each other at the biggest stadium in the world. Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad will be host to the final and it’s fair to say that it’ll be one of the biggest games in the history of the sport.

ICC World Cup 2023 Final: Rohit Sharma two sixes away from breaking massive record of Chris Gayle in ODIs

India will be favourites going into the ICC World Cup 2023 final. The brand of cricket that they have played in the tournament is something that has been applauded by many. The credit for that goes to none other than skipper Rohit Sharma, who has changed the complexion of almost every game.

Rohit Sharma has taken his team off the flying starts in almost every game and has been one of the biggest reasons for the team’s success in the ICC World Cup. The opening batter has taken attack to the bowlers right from the start and hasn’t allowed them to settle at all.

This approach by Rohit Sharma has taken all the pressure off the other batters, who have batted freely and have helped the team post big totals on the board. The Indian captain is amongst the leading run-getters in the tournament with 550 runs to his name from 10 innings.

Rohit Sharma has broken quite a few records in the World Cup and is on the verge of breaking another massive record. The Indian skipper is just 2 sixes away from breaking Chris Gayle’s record of most sixes against an opponent in ODIs. If he hits two maximums against Australia, he will most sixes against them.

With the way Rohit Sharma has been batting, it’s fair to say that he can break that record in the ICC World Cup 2023 final. All the Indians fans and management would be hoping that he continues batting in the same way and takes his team to glory in the big final.
