ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Fixtures Schedule Announced, India vs Bangladesh on June 1

T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Fixtures: The International Cricket Council (ICC), on May 17, announced the list of warm-up fixtures for the upcoming World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA. Unlike previous cycles during the T20 World Cup, the ICC has provided flexibility to the teams to choose whether they want to play two warm-up matches or just a solitary.

All the warm-up fixtures for the T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in the span of six days from May 27 to June 1. These games will be played at four venues across the Caribbean and the USA namely, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen?s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

The 20-team competition will have 16 warm-up matches with some playing two and some just one practice game. Among those who will be taking part in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Warm-Up fixtures are Nepal, Canada, Papua New Guinea, Namibia, Uganda, Netherlands and Bangladesh among others.

The guidelines for the warm-up matches remain similar, with some tweaks, to what an international T20I game has, however, it will not have a T20 status. The teams can field all their 15 squad members during the game.

Team India's only warm-up match is scheduled against Bangladesh on June 1. The venue for the fixture is yet not confirmed by the ICC.

The T20 World Cup 2024 begins on June 1 as co-host USA is set to lock horns against Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium, in Dallas. Below are the details of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Fixtures:
