ICC T20 World Cup 2022: 3 Questions to be Solved by Indian Team Before the World Cup Begins. 

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is around the corner and every avid cricket fan is keen to know how the Indian Cricket Team will perform on the global stage. Over the past few years, we are making small mistakes that eventually lead to the team faltering at crucial moments. In 2019 it was the absence of Ambati Rayudu from the Indian team, in 2021 it was the underperforming batters. All in all, in these tournaments, there were a few unanswered questions. Here are 3 questions that need to be answered before the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 begins: 

Dinesh Karthik OR Rishabh Pant OR Both: Who is in the 11 at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022? 

The first conundrum is that of Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant. The sheer conviction with which Karthik has been finishing games in the limited number of chances is too good. But each of us knows what Pant can do when he is on the song. Pant is a big-match player. Also, with Jadeja out, the team doesn?t have a left-hander in the top 5. So, ideally, Pant also stands a chance. But the team off-late is going with Axar Patel in place of Jadeja and the rest of the combination remains the same.  

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, The Death Bowler? 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and his skill in the death overs are under scrutiny. Not all cricket pundits are in favor of Bhuvi even bowling a single over at the death. With Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah back, Bhuvi?s services will not be required as such but even if it is for 1 over, will Bhuvi bowl at the death? He has been conceding runs the like a flowing river at the death. So, Rohit needs to manage his bowlers such that Bhuvi gets little to no overs in the final 5. 

Rohit, Rahul, Kohli Who will Open at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022? 

It is more than certain that India is likely to make Rohit and Rahul their opener and Kohli will bat at number 3. But there is a word around that if Rahul loses form or isn?t consistent, the team will look for other options as well. Virat Kohli in that case can walk to bat up the order. Rohit Sharma is a fixed candidate for that place but whether Rahul will continue or not, will be decided by Rahul?s performances.
