In what has been the latest development as per the reports in Pakistan media, it is learned that Pakistan Cricket Team has given a green signal to the International Cricket Council (ICC) about their availability for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The talks mulling over Pakistan not travelling to India for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 have been hogging the headlines for a while. This particularly has been because of the controversy between India and Pakistan due to the venue of the Asia Cup 2023

The Board of Control of Cricket (BCCI) is not keen to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup due to security reasons whereas Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the other hand has been stern on their stand and is not willing to move the tournament out of Pakistan.

This led to some rumours, which suggested that if India won’t come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, the Men in Green too will not travel to India for the World Cup and will end up boycotting both events.
