Australia have suffered another massive blow ahead of the ENG vs AUS. After Glenn Maxwell was ruled out of the clash against England due to a concussion injury, premier all-rounder Mitchell Marsh also will miss the game against arch-rivals.

Mitchell Marsh has left the Australian team ahead of the ENG vs AUS and has flown back home due to personal reasons. The all-rounder had some family issues and has been ruled out of the ICC World Cup 2023 for an indefinite period of time.

This will come as a massive blow for Australia as Mitchell Marsh has been in the red hot form. He played breathtaking knocks for the team at the top and played a great role in his team making a comeback after two losses in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Not only with the bat, Mitchell Marsh has been handy with the ball as well in the tournament. He has chipped in from time to time and has put his team at the top. His absence will leave a great void in the Australian team, especially with the semi-final place at the stake.

In his absence, it is likely that Marcus Stoinis will be back for the team. The all-rounder missed the last two games due to injury and it is expected that he will take the spot. In Marsh’s absence, it is expected that Steve Smith will bat at No.3 in the ENG vs AUS in Ahmedabad.
