Pakistan Former Skipper Imran Khan's Bail rejected by Pakistan Court:?On October 27, 2023, Imran Khan's petition for bail and cancellation of FIR for the Cipher Case was rejected by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). In response to this, Imran Khan's Lawyer, Naeem Panju, said they would challenge the decision made by the Pakistani court.
Imran Khan, The Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and former Captain of the Pakistan Men's Cricket Team, was accused of leaking a secret diplomatic cable (Cipher), which had confidential details with United States Diplomat in Washington, US.
The Special Court was scheduled for October 27 to review the petitions filed by Imran Khan but under the charges of violating the Law of Country's secrets. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi are accused of mismanaging the diplomatic cable.
