Big News: Glenn Maxwell all set to move to CSK from PBKS as part of trade ahead of IPL 2026 auction- Reports
In what has been the latest development, as per the reports in RevSportz and other media outlets, it is learned that Glenn Maxwell is all set to be part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The reports claimed that the five-time champions will be trading him from the Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Glenn Maxwell has been one of the finest players to have played in T20I cricket. The all-rounder, who has now retired from ODIs and is only active in T20Is, will be one of the key players for Chennai Super Kings if the deal happens.
Glenn Maxwell has been one of the few players who have failed to live up to expectations. He was part of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) last year but again failed to carry on his good form. He was dropped from the XI and then injured ruled him out of the tournament as well.

However, at CSK, he would be keen to change the fortunes. The CSK environment will suit him perfectly as playing under the guidance of MS Dhoni would surely do a great to him. If given the role properly, he could be a great asset for CSK.
CSK are trying for a cash deal and along with Glenn Maxwell, the reports claimed that Liam Livingstone, Tushar Deshpande and Deepak Chahar are also on their radar. It remains to be seen if any of the trade happens.
CSK already on the verge of completing one of the biggest trades in the IPL. They are all set to add Sanju Samson from the Rajasthan Royals (RR). However, in return, they will be giving Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.
