England squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 announced, drop Liam Livingstone and Jamie Smith

England have dropped Liam Livingstone and Jamie Smith from the T20 World Cup 2026 squad.

The England Cricket Team have announced their squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Premier all-rounder Liam Livingstone and keeper Jamie Smith have been dropped from the team in a shocking turn of events.

The England Cricket Team will be captained by Harry Brook in the series with no one being his deputy. This means that the onus will be on Jos Buttler to provide him support in the leadership and help the team win the games.

Josh Tongue has made an entry into the England T20I team following his heroics with the ball in the Ashes 2025-26. Sam Curran is also back in the squad, which features a lot of all-rounders.

The batting department will be bolstered by Ben Duckett, Phil Salt, Jos Buttler and Tom Banton at the top. Jacob Bethell will be there in the middle along with Will Jacks. They have also named a strong bowling lineup.

Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Sam Curran and Rehan Ahmed will be there along with Jamie Overton, Tongue and Luke Wood
