Australia schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026

The ICC announced the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 schedule on Tuesday, November 25. A total of 20 teams will be part of the tournament and they will be divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8.

In the Super 8 stage, teams will be divided into two groups. The two teams from each Super Four game will advance to the semi-final followed by the finals. The tournament will be played at eight venues across India and Sri Lanka. 

Coming to the Australian Cricket Team, they will be one of the hot favourites to win the ICC T20 World Cup in 2026. They will be captained by Mitchell Marsh in the tournament and will be eyeing their second ICC T20 World Cup title, having won their first one in 2021.

Australia have been put in Group B of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. They will play all their games in Sri Lanka and will have Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman in their group.

Australia will play their first game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 against Ireland on February 11. They will be up against Zimbabwe in their next clash on February 13. In their last two games, they will lock horns with Sri Lanka and Oman on February 16 and 20 respectively.
