The Indian National Cricket Team will be playing against the Pakistan National Cricket Team on September 14, 2024, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Match between India and Pakistan will start from 8:00 PM (IST) and 6:30 PM (local time).

In this attack, a total of 26 civilians were killed based on their religion. Indian people expected that Pakistani players and others would speak out on this terrorist attack, but they chose to be silent.

This led Indian cricket fans to boycott the matches against Pakistan in any future tournaments. Asia Cup 2025 came under this hood, and people are aggressively supporting the Boycott of the India vs Pakistan match.

Who is supporting the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 match?

However, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia supported the match between India vs Pakistan. He explained that we are not playing a bilateral series against them, but not participating in tournaments will impact the player's careers and India’s sporting reputation.

The former union sports minister and ex-BCCI President Anurag Thakur also came in support and said we can cut off the participation in bilateral series, but participation is needed in these tournaments to be relevant in sports.

Harbajan Singh, in an interview with Hindustan Times, said:

"The India-Pakistan match always comes to the limelight. I feel that until the time relations between India and Pakistan do not improve, cricket and business should not be there as well. But that is my thought. If the government says the match can happen, then it should happen."
