The Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr are looking to sign Tottenham Defender Emerson Royal. The Saudi Pro League has been tremendous in bringing European-based talent into the Middle East. SPL started the trend of signing Christiano Ronaldo back in 2023 in the January transfer window after Premier League giants Manchester United released the legend.

The Brazilian was also approached by the Saudi club to play alongside Ronaldo in the SPL for a whooping €20 million offer. The 25-year-old joined the Spurs from Barcelona during the Summer transfer window 2021. Emerson could not hold a great impact at the Camp and he moved to England joining Tottenham Hotspur. He is an important player for them.

Tottenham rejected Al Nassr’s offer for the 25-year-old’s services

The Saudi club has reportedly put forward a €20 million deal for the Brazilian international. Emerson, who has been an important player for the Spurs due to his versatility playing at any position in the back, made them reject the offer. The 25-year-old has made 72 appearances scoring on 4 occasions for the North London club.

Emerson also featured in the Barcelona camp. Al Nassr who are trying to bolster their squad for the upcoming season have been looking into this defender. Emerson Royal has been a top target due to his defensive skills and is open to playing in any position at the back. But their offer was turned down since Spurs are looking for a good future and are determined to keep him.

Tottenham have worked well in the transfer window this season and have been looking for a few more transfers. The North London club has faced issues with injury this season and is looking to keep options. Emerson has been an integral part of the side in recent years and has shown consistency in his play.
