According to Pasandideh, Iranian players and officials will be allowed to enter the United States for matches but will be required to leave on the same day.

If Iran progress beyond the group stage, further logistical planning may be required for knockout-round matches hosted in the United States.
Contradicting Statements Create Confusion
The envoy's comments appear to conflict with previous statements made by Iran team spokesperson Amir Mahdi Alavi.
"The visas issued for the national team are multiple-entry visas, and the national team will arrive at the match venue one day before the first game and, for the following games, two days before each match," Alavi said during an interview on Iranian state television.
The differing accounts have generated uncertainty regarding the exact travel protocols that will apply to Iran during the competition.
Neither FIFA nor U.S. authorities have publicly provided additional clarification regarding the matter.
Mexico Emerges as Iran's World Cup Base
To minimize complications, Iran have already adjusted their World Cup plans.
Mexico's government has welcomed the arrangement.
"The United States does not want the Iranian team to stay overnight, but they are going to play three matches there. So they asked us: 'Can they stay overnight in Mexico?' And we said: 'Yes, no problem,'" Sheinbaum said during a press conference.
As a result, Iran are expected to use Tijuana as their operational base while travelling into the United States for matches.
The arrangement highlights the unique logistical challenges that can arise when a major sporting event is hosted across multiple countries.
Key Iranian Officials Reportedly Excluded From Visas
The visa issue has extended beyond players and coaching staff.
Among those reportedly left out was Iranian Football Federation president Mehdi Taj. he absence of key administrators could create additional challenges for tournament operations and delegation management.
Despite the complications, Iran remain focused on their World Cup campaign and will hope to progress from a competitive group featuring Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand.
